HELENA–For the second straight year, the Helena Miracle League will attempt to bring fun and laughter to the Helena Sports Complex in the form of a Womanless Beauty Pageant.

After raising more than $1,000 a year ago at the inaugural Dude Looks Like a Lady Womanless Beauty Pageant, the Helena Miracle League will look to expand the pageant as they hope to double the number of contestants.

The pageant will take place Saturday, April 14, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Helena Sports Complex as all proceeds will benefit the Helena Miracle League’s future construction of a special needs ballpark.

The Helena Miracle League’s mission is to provide opportunities for children with disabilities to play Miracle League Baseball, regardless of their abilities, promote community support and sponsorship of Miracle Leagues and promote the construction of special facilities that meet the unique needs of Miracle League players and their families.

The future home of the 125-foot baseball field will sit on a plot of land roughly 2.5 acres behind Joe Tucker Park that will feature ADA accessible restrooms, a pavilion area, concession stand and a disability accessible parking lot.

Admission to the pageant will cost $5 per person or a VIP table may be purchased for $100 that seats eight people. The VIP tables are located closer to the stage.

The pageant will feature a silent auction, talent show and of course the beauty contest. Contestants will compete to win several different categories including Ms. Congeniality, Ms. Social Butterfly, Ms. Hottest Hooters, Ms. Best Butts in Town, Ms. Hot Wheels and Ms. Weeds/Best Beard.

Pageant organizers encourage those attending to bring plenty of cash as Chick-Fil-A will have a cash-only concession stand, and cash will be needed to support the favorite dude contestant.

Those wishing to become a contestant will need to fill out an application by Friday, April 6, with a $25 charitable contribution entry fee. The completed application must be turned into Scozzaro Law, LLC., Att: Gail Mitchell, PO Box 548, Helena or dropped off at the office at the corner of Railroad Avenue and Helena Road.

For more information or to reserve a VIP table, call Mitchell at 603-4377.
