“I’m excited about the opportunity to seek this position on the bench in Shelby County,” Saia said. “I bring a conservative philosophy and 16 years of legal experience with me.”

Saia is a graduate of Cumberland Law School at Samford University. For the past 16 years, she has been in private practice. Her private practice includes civil and criminal litigation, domestic relations and family law, child support law, representation of small businesses and general litigation.

“Throughout my legal career, I have always strived to be honest, fair and courteous with all those I come into contact with. I plan to bring those qualities to the bench.” Saia said.

In addition to a busy law practice, Saia sits as a board member on the PTO at her son’s school, is on the board of directors of Hilltop Montessori School in Mt Laurel and serves on the board of the Kevin Turner Foundation. Her husband, Norman Saia Jr., is a native of Pelham. They have one son, live in Chelsea and are members of St. Mark’s Catholic Church.

“I think real courtroom experience matters,” Saia added. “The people of our county deserve a judge with a diverse legal background. I think voters want someone who has real courtroom experience at the Shelby County courthouse.”

The Republican primary election is June 5, 2018.
