Mary Nell Palmer Barnes

Mary Nell Palmer Barnes was born Nov. 6, 1931, in Ensley, the daughter of Willie Ward and Lucy Bohannon Palmer.

She passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 3.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Barnes.

She is survived by her three children, Denise Bevis Ferrell (Russ), Howard Bruce Barnes (Krista), Cindy Cason Noblitt (Russ); her six grandchildren, Kevin Bevis (Kerri), Ryan Bevis (Adrian), Alyson Lamb (Josh), Tara Barnes, Rebecca Cason, and Steven Barnes; and six great-grandchildren.

Mary Nell will always be remembered as 2mommy.

The family of Mary Nell Barnes will have a private family graveside service at the Elliottsville Cemetery in Alabaster.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Alabaster Presbyterian Church.
