Funeral service for Ruth Harding, age 86, was held Thursday, May 3 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment followed at Lawley’s Chapel Cemetery.

Ms. Harding passed away Sunday, April 29.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Harding; parents, Ollie and Ruby Howard; and sister, Mary (Chester) Wydemon.

She is survived by two sisters, Lucille (Joe) Humphreys and Joe Alexander; and two brothers, Ray (Marlynn) Howard and Jerry (Charlotte) Howard.

She is well remembered for her skills in sewing, quilting and crocheting.
