Linda Posten Lucas, age 63, of Shelby, passed away Sunday, May 13.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 17 at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Henry Edmondson officiating. Burial will be at Elliottsville Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mrs. Lucas is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Margaret Posten; sister, Brenda Posten Carter; and husband, Jimmy Wayne Lawley.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela Edmondson (Henry) and Becky Lucas (Joe); grandchildren, Timothy Austin Lawley (Dessi), Michael Dalton Harris, Kasey Dale Phillips, Jackson David Leroy Ashley, and Charlie Daniel Edmondson; cousins, Melinda Jones Rutledge and Alesa Wilson; and numerous friends and loved ones.
