PELHAM – A missing 36-year-old Pelham man who was last seen by his family on Friday, July 13, was found dead inside Oak Mountain State Park on Sunday, July 22.

Derek Carlington’s vehicle was found on a secluded road, according to the PPD. No foul play is suspected in his death.

“We, along with his family, want to thank the public for sharing the information and those involved in the search,” stated the PPD. “We offer our support and prayers to his family and friends in the days and weeks to come.”
