CHELSEA – A wreck at about 9 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, slowed traffic on Shelby County 36 in Chelsea.

The wreck occurred in the 300 Block of Shelby County 36, according to a release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

No information was immediately available about any injuries sustained in the wreck.

At the time the release was sent, about 9:30 a.m., one lane of traffic was open.

“It is expected that both lanes will be re-opened very soon,” the release read. “Drivers should still drive cautiously in the area and watch for first responders in the roadway.”
