Schedule set for Aug. 18 Husky Day

HELENA–Ten days is all that remains before the start of another Helena High School varsity football season and before the Huskies kick off the season on the road at McAdory, parents and fans can get a glimpse of the team and more at the annual Husky Day event.
Husky Day is set for Saturday, Aug. 18, at Helena High School as the event will feature scrimmages from the Helena Middle School teams, the HHS freshmen team, the HHS varsity team, cheerleading routines, fall sports team recognitions and more.
Entry to Husky Day is $5. Children that attend the event wearing a uniform will receive free admission.
Below is a schedule detailing the events at Husky Day:
–Gates open at 3 p.m.
–Freshman scrimmage game/cheer from 4-5 p.m.
–Youth football intro from 5-5:15 p.m.
–Youth cheer intro/routine from 5:15-5:45 p.m.
–Middle school fall sports intro from 5:45-6 p.m.
–Seventh grade football/cheer from 6-6:45 p.m.
–Eighth grade football/cheer from 6:45-7:30 p.m.
–Fall sports teams and Helena Athletic Association Lifetime Members introductions from 7:45-8:15 p.m.
–Varsity football/cheer from 8:30-9:30 p.m.
In addition to the action on the field, those in attendance can enjoy bouncy houses, concession stand items and more.
