ALABASTER – Local teens will have a chance to kick off the 2018-19 school year with some fun, as the Alabaster Teen Council is holding its annual “Back 2 School Bash” on Aug. 25.

The event will be held on the 3-acre field at Alabaster’s Municipal Park off Warrior Drive from 6-10 p.m.

All teens are invited to attend the free event, which will feature food, carnival rides, music and more.

The event has been organized by the Teen Council for the past few years to kick off the school year. Since it formed several years ago, the Teen Council has organized many youth-oriented community events ranging from summer movie nights to slip-n-slide days.
