HELENA – Registration is now open to youth boys and girls in the Helena community wishing to participate in the youth basketball season.

Registration is taking place between now and Oct. 26 for the upcoming season that will run from November through February 2019.

Parents of youth players interested in playing can register online at Helenaparkandrec.org or can register in person.

In-person registration and fitting will be Sunday, Oct. 28 from 1-3 p.m. at the Helena Community Center.

The cost associated for registration is $140 per player.

The Helena Parks and Recreation department plans to play the neighboring cities of Pelham, Alabaster, Calera and Montevallo mostly during the weekdays to allow families more free time on the weekends.
