HELENA – After nearly six months of business, Helena Fit Body Boot Camp will be closing its doors, according to a statement issued by the owner.

The Helena establishment, located at 500 Riverwoods Court, Suites D and E, was part of a national franchise with additional Alabama locations in Trussville and Mobile as Fit Body offered a unique workout regime.

“We do 30-minute high intensity workouts in groups,” Riverwoods Shopping Plaza and Manager Hil Fradenburg said at the ribbon cutting event on Nov. 2, 2018. “Exercisers burn calories and reach a higher metabolism to burn more calories over the next 24-36 hours. We book every 45 minutes and get started at 5:30 each morning for convenience.”

The business officially closed on Sunday, March 24, as owner Robbie Pruthi informed gym members the business could no longer keep its doors open.

“Six months ago, when we opened our doors, we couldn’t have imagined that we would be saying goodbye so suddenly. Unfortunately, though, we simply ran out of time to convince enough people just how amazing our product is,” Pruthi wrote.

Pruthi also said the business would be offering refunds to members who joined the gym.

“For any members who paid in full for memberships (e.g. 12 month, six month, three month), please allow us 10-14 days to refund the balance of the remaining months on your contract,” Pruthi wrote. “For any questions or concerns regarding your membership, please contact me at 259-6224 or at info@helenafitbody.com.”
