ACS holding summer enrichment camps

ALABASTER – Local children entering grades kindergarten through seventh will have a chance to take part in camps this summer covering topics ranging from animal care and art to coding and gardening.
The Alabaster City Schools Community Education Department is holding several community enrichment camps in seven separate sessions beginning in early June.
The Community Education Department is encouraging children to register early for the camps, as space is limited for each one.
ACS will hold the following camps on the following dates. Registration contact is listed for each camp:
June 3-7:
-Animal care for children entering grades third through seventh. Camp will be held at Creek View Elementary School, and registration contact is Brianna.peterson@acsboe.org.
-Build your own water garden for children entering grades fourth through seventh. Camp will be held at CVES, and registration contact is Brianna.peterson@acsboe.org.
-Pallet gardening for children entering grades fourth through seventh. Camp will be held at CVES, and registration contact is Brianna.peterson@acsboe.org.
-Junky to funky upcycling for children entering grades first through seventh. Camp will be held at Meadow View Elementary School, and registration contact is Kip.mask@acsboe.org.
June 10-14:
