VINCENT – Students at Vincent Middle High School had the opportunity for some fun during the school day on Thursday, April 25, while furthering an important effort.

The school’s annual Fun Day, which is organized by the Vincent PTO, included races, volleyball, flag football, jousting, an inflatable obstacle course and more at the school’s football field.

Students interested in participating purchased armbands for $10 each, and the money collected went toward the PTO’s scholarship fund, which will be used to provide scholarships for students graduating in May.

Concessions were also sold by the PTO.

“We finished testing [the previous week], and this is just a good time for us to get outside and have some fun,” Principal Michele Edwards said.

Many of the school’s teachers helped at the various stations as about 250 students enjoyed the festivities.
