Elsie Jones, age 79, of Shelby, passed away Friday, April 26.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 1 at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Henry Edmondson and Rev. Terry Linholm officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband, Luke Jones.

She is survived by her sons, Tommy Jones (Debra) and Michael Jones (Stacey); grandchildren, Crystal Moore (Shane), Steven Jones (Ashton), Kevin Jones, and Ashlyn Bailey (Brandon); and great grandchildren, Mason, Robert, Emma Claire, Sadie Grace, and Braylyn.
