PELHAM – Registration for Pelham City School’s Summer Care program is still open, but not for much longer.

Registration for the program ends May 31. The program gives parents the flexibility to sign their child up for weeks at a time or for the whole summer.

The Summer Care program will run from May 28 to August 2 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Camp will be closed July 4-5.

Students are divided by age group and participate in outdoor activities, board games, educational computer games and arts and crafts and more. The students get to play water-related games outside when the weather permits and are treated to a field trip once a week. Students from both elementary schools will attend Summer Care at Pelham Ridge.

All PCS registered students entering kindergarten through the sixth grade are welcome to attend.

There is a one-time registration fee of $25 and camp costs $150 per week, which covers the cost of field trips and a T-shirt.

Those interested in signing up for the program must be in good standing with the current PCS Extended Day program financially and behaviorally.
