Gordon Collins of Alabaster passed away Saturday, July 13 after an extended illness.

He was born February 1, 1930 to James Clarence Collins and Leila McMillan Collins.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Kimbell Ballard Collins (until 1996), and then Olene Collins (until 2016).

He is survived by three sons, Darryl Collins (Sandra), Don Collins and Tim Collins (Leigh); seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Mr. Collins’ funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 16 at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m.
