Final details announced for Helena’s Husky Day

HELENA – One week prior to the start of the new high school football season, Helena Husky fans, parents and more will have an opportunity to get a glimpse of what’s to come with a variety of scrimmages, a look at the new turf field, a free concert and more at the 2019 Husky Day event.

The final details of Husky Day have been set as the event will take place on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 4-10 p.m. at the Helena High School Football Stadium.

Admission to the event will be $5 per person and free admission for children ages 4 and under.

The evening will include scrimmages from the Helena Middle School football team, followed by a scrimmage from the Helena High School junior varsity team and capped off with a scrimmage for the Helena High School varsity team.

The newly installed turf field will also be on display as the Helena youth teams will be introduced and take the field and those attending Husky Day will also have an opportunity to walk on the new field.

Other highlights of the event will feature autographs from players, concessions provided by the Helena High School band, a kid’s punt, pass and kick contest, raffles for prizes, inflatables for kids, vendor tables, a Helena Athletic Association membership drive and the event will be capped off with a free concert by McAbee’s Garage Band.

Helena will kick-off the season on Friday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m. at home against the McAdory Yellow Jackets, which marks the first of five home games this season at Husky Stadium.

Season tickets and parking passes for the 2019 season are now on sale with the following options available for purchase:

–The reserved ticket package costs $65 and includes one reserved season ticket to all five home games.

–The standard package costs $165 and includes one reserved season ticket and one general parking pass for the reserved lot to all five home games.
