The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Montevallo teenager.

Cierra Cathey, 16, was reported missing on Monday, Aug. 26, according to a post on the SCSO Facebook page.

Cathey has been in contact with her family, but her whereabouts remain unknown, the post read.

Cathey is listed as 5-foot-2-inches tall and 125 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, and usually wears glasses and has a nose piercing.

She might be in the Bibb County area, the post read.
