ALABASTER – Registration for Alabaster’s girls’ and boys’ youth basketball teams is now under way and will end Sept. 28.

The program is open to girls and boys in kindergarten through ninth grade. Parents can register online at Alabasterparks.org by 11 p.m. on Sept. 28. Parents may also register in person and only on weekdays by visiting the Alabaster Parks and Recreation office located at 7305 Alabama 119 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Sept. 27.

It costs $85 to register one child. An additional 10 percent will be added per child for those who do not live in the city. There is a 10 percent multi-child discount after paying full price for the oldest child.

Registration forms will not be accepted or processed without payment. A $25 late fee is charged for late registrations and the child may be placed on a waiting list.
