Police: Woman stole credit cards, more from vehicles at Greenway trail

NORTH SHELBY – Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a case of breaking and entering and attempted fraudulent use of credit cards.

Two vehicles were broken into at the Dunnavant Valley Greenway trail between 4:30-5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, according to information released by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

Credit cards were among the items stolen, and a suspect, who was captured by surveillance footage, attempted to use the cards a short time later.

The suspect may have been in the company of a black male, according to SCSO.

A vehicle used by the suspect, which was also captured by surveillance footage, has damaged to the driver’s side door.
