HELENA – The fall season isn’t just for football, and those wishing to play, coach or volunteer for Helena Miracle League baseball will have an opportunity to do so on four upcoming dates this October and November.

Fall ball will kick off this Saturday, Oct. 19, and representatives with the Helena Miracle League are searching for players, coaches and volunteers for the games that will be played at Joe Tucker Park in Helena.

In addition to Oct. 19, baseball games will be played on Saturday, Oct. 26, Saturday, Nov. 2 and Saturday, Nov. 9 between 9-11 a.m. each date.

The Helena Miracle League’s mission is to provide opportunities for children with disabilities to play Miracle League Baseball, regardless of their abilities, promote community support and sponsorship of Miracle Leagues and promote the construction of special facilities that meet the unique needs of Miracle League players and their families.

In the future, other alternative uses for the Miracle League field in Helena could include visits from nursing home members for exercise, kickball, soccer and Special Olympics events.

The Helena Miracle League continues to host a wide-range of fundraisers. To sign up to be a player, coach or volunteer, more information can be found at Facebook.com/HMLAngels/ or Helenamiracleleague.com.
