CHELSEA – A missing 17-year-old from Chelsea has been found safe, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

The SCSO had announced it was seeking information about Ruth Wanita VanValkenburg, who as of Oct. 14 had last been seen on Saturday, Oct. 12, getting into a gray Mercedes passenger car.
