Ester V. Etress, age 85, of Columbiana, passed away Thursday, Oct. 24.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27 at Bolton Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 28 at the funeral home with Rev. Leslie Whiting officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mrs. Etress is preceded in death by her husband, Homer Edgar “Mann” Etress; daughter, Ollie Bulger (Doug) and son, Jimmy Etress; and brothers, Oscar Higgins, Tobe Higgins, and J.R. Higgins.

She is survived by her son, Barry Etress (Joyce); grandsons, Blake Etress, Ryan Etress, Daniel Bulger (Caroline), and Stephen Bulger (Ali); sisters, Bonnie Schrader (Johnny) and Jewel Henderson (John); and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Comfort Care Hospice or the Spring Creek Cemetery Fund.
