Anthony “Tony” Franklin Blackmon, age 52, of Chelsea, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, at home, surrounded by family.

The memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Childersburg Church of God.

Tony loved Alabama football, his family, going to yard sales on Saturday with our Dad, working, and his dogs.

Tony is preceded in death by his mother, Judy G. Blackmon, and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Murray; children, Hollie, Jonathon, and Nikki Crowe; step-children, Christopher and Christina Murray; father, William Franklin Blackmon; sisters, Tina Boothe (Charles), Tracie J. Blackmon Payne (Shane); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends who loved him for his determination, dedication, and individuality.
