Katie Ruth Williams, age 84 of Calera, passed away suddenly Friday, Nov. 29 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born in Ohatchee on June 18, 1935, the daughter of the late Grady Jenkins and the late Ruth Watts Jenkins.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who was greatly loved and will be missed by many. She was the sweetest person you would ever meet.

She is survived by her son, Larry (Teresa) Hall of Calera; son, Allen (Tithie) Hall of Calera; daughter, Tammy Hall (Stephen) Harden of Hoover; grandchildren, Robert Hall, Jamie Hotchkiss, Phillip Mims, and Jason Hall; six great grandchildren; brother, Roy Jenkins of Talladega; sister, Meta (Lindsey) Stephens of Talladega; brother, Fred (Kathleen) Jenkins of Talladega; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is survived by her first husband, Virgil Hall, and husband, Raymond Williams.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. from the Shelby Memory Gardens Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Calera with Rev. Jason Jarvis officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the Shelby Memory Gardens Chapel. Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera.
