ACS names Teachers of the Year

ALABASTER – Alabaster City Schools named its Teachers of the Year at an Alabaster Board of Education meeting in November.
Each of the district’s five schools selected a Teacher of the Year, and then those educators were entered as nominees for the district’s Elementary Teacher of the Year and Secondary Teacher of the Year awards.
Creek View’s Teacher of the Year is Erin Brunson; the Meadow View TOY is Darbe Hooten; Thompson Intermediate’s TOY is Brian Goodman; Janet Griffith is Thompson Middle’s TOY; and Jacob Huggins is the TOY at Thompson High.
The Elementary Teacher of the Year award went to Erin Brunson, while Janet Griffith was dubbed Secondary Teacher of the Year.
