ALABASTER – The city of Alabaster’s drug prevention team, Alabaster For Tomorrow, is gearing up to host an event that’s aimed at educating parents and caregivers about the latest trends among today’s youth.

Alabaster For Tomorrow will host Parent University on Tuesday, March 3, from 6:30-7:45 p.m. at Thompson High School. During the event, Shelby Kile with UAB/Children’s of Alabama will discuss vaping, and Joshua Shoemake from Warrior Wellness will present parenting tips.

The event will take place in the school’s Innovation Center. Attendees should park in the back of the school and enter the building using the back student entrance.

Alabaster For Tomorrow is an anti-drug organization created in 2017 and specifically tailored to address issues surrounding drug use among the city’s youth.
