Shelby County Schools will be hosting an online pre-enrollment for those who will be attending kindergarten in August 2020.

The online enrollment will take place between May 4 and 8, and certain documents will need to be faxed, emailed or mailed to the school the child will be attending.

While, face-to-face registration will take place in July, this gives the county a heads up to know how many kindergarten students they should expect in the fall and helps you get a lot of the paperwork out of the way.

In addition to the online registration, the enrolling parent or legal guardian must present a photo ID, the student’s birth certificate is needed as a proof of age, a proof of residence is needed and a proof of custody.

You can mail, fax or email those items.

SCS asks that you be prepared to provide updated information at the face-to-face registration in July.
