HELENA – Eagle Forum, the conservative interest group, will be hosting a kickoff event for its new West Shelby County this upcoming January.

The kickoff event, currently scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, will be held at the Helena Sports Complex. Guest speaker Rebekah Blocher will be featured at the event as she delivers her presentation entitled, “The Great Reset – The Plan to Change Everything.”

The Eagle Forum prides itself on their self-described mission of enabling conservative pro-family men and women to participate in the political process and the process of self-government and public policy making.

“Eagle Forum provides individuals the opportunity to have their voices heard in the process of government and public policy making,” said group leader Marilyn Schultz. “We stand for sanctity of human life, biblical and historic definition of the family, our freedoms guaranteed under the constitution, national sovereignty, border security, election integrity and capitalism.”

With the goal of establishing a following and growing an active attendance to the group in western Shelby County, Elaine Little, a resident of Pelham and vice president of operations for the new chapter, invites anyone interested to attend and connect with “like-minded individuals who share their beliefs and values and respect family integrity.”

“We stand strong for academic excellence in education,” Schultz said. “We lobby legislation for these things at the local, state and federal level. We want to hear from the citizens of Shelby County and address their concerns. We want everyone to be involved, especially with the upcoming elections. There is nothing more dangerous than an uneducated voter and Eagle Forum strives to educate voters on policies and where candidates stand on issues.”

Following the kickoff event, the Eagle Forum West Shelby County chapter will meet every fourth Friday of every month at the Helena Sports Complex.
