Wilsonville man arrested for sexually abusing minor

WILSONVILLE – Paul Andrew Davis, age 31 of Wilsonville, has been arrested by authorities for allegedly sexually abusing a child of less than 12 years of age.

Davis was booked into the Shelby County Jail on Feb. 4 on a total bond of $45,000 for two felony counts of sodomy in the first degree, one felony count of sexual abuse in the first degree and felony sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old and sexual assault with an object. With two of the four total charges having no bond, Davis will remain in the Shelby County Jail until a trial is set or a bond is added for those charges.

According to court records, the incident allegedly took place on Jan. 1 in Shelby County and was committed against a minor of less than 12 years of age.

The following is a complete breakdown of the current charges:

  • Sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years of age/sexual assault with an object – $30,000
  • Sexual abuse in the first degree – $15,000
  • Sodomy in the first degree – No bond
  • Sodomy in the first degree – No bond
