PELHAM – A private developer is transforming the former Wells Fargo branch in Pelham into a new commercial development that is set to feature a convenience store, restaurant and gas station.

The building, located at 3350 Pelham Parkway, will be the future home of Mama’s Country Cooking, a convenience store with a drive-thru component that utilizes the former bank teller lanes of the Wells Fargo.

A complete interior remodel of the existing structure and exterior upgrades—including a fresh coat of paint on the brick façade and the relocation of exterior doors—are some of the key features of the project. A new canopy will also be installed over the gas pumps.

Along with Mama’s Country Cooking, a separate entrance will provide access to Toast Trends, a liquor store that, along with Mama’s, has applied for ABC license approval.

The gas station is likely to be a BP, with initial renderings depicting the oil and gas company’s branding. Signage has not yet been finalized.

The project currently has no timetable, but Pelham has issued the necessary building permits with periodic inspections underway. Royal Builders is serving as the project’s general contractor.
