PELHAM – Michael Harris, a local business owner and longtime community volunteer, has officially announced his candidacy for a full term on the Pelham City Council.

Harris, who was appointed last year to fill a vacated council seat, is seeking reelection to continue his service to Pelham.

“I’m proud to call Pelham home,” Harris said. “This city shaped me, and now I have the opportunity to give back in a way that makes a lasting difference. I’m not a politician—I’m a neighbor, a business owner, a coach and a dad who’s passionate about helping this city continue to thrive.”

Harris has lived in Pelham since 1982 and is a graduate of Pelham High School. He and his wife Ashley live in the community with their four children—Corbin, Carly, Camryn and Collins. He owns Three M Karts & Mowers, a family-run business that has served Pelham since 2001.

Harris has also dedicated countless hours to local youth sports through Pelham Parks & Recreation, where he has volunteered as a coach since 2015. He is also a past president of the Pelham Parks & Recreation Advisory Board.

“My campaign is about continuing progress together,” Harris said. “I believe in smart growth, supporting our schools and public safety and making sure Pelham remains a place where families and businesses can thrive.”
