The following are incident and offense reports from municipal police departments in Shelby County from April 1-My 4:

 

Alabaster

April 28

-Information only from the 100 Block of Interstate Commerce Court (commercial/office building).

-Information only from the 300 Block of Logos Trace (residence/home).

-Trespassing notice from the 500 Block of 1st Street SW (convenience store).

-Fraud – identity theft and theft of property first degree (greater than $2,500) from the 1400 Block of Silver Creek Lane (residence/home). Stolen was identity and money valued at $19,000.

-Theft of lost property second degree (greater than $500 to $2,500) from the 1000 Block of Balmoral Drive (hotel/motel/etc). Stolen was a 14K white gold small diamond valued at $985.

-Theft of property first degree (greater than $2,500) from Highway 119 (rental storage facility). Stolen was a Steele demolition saw, Makita hammer drill, Milwaukee boring drill, Makita skill saw, Dewalt cooler, two rolls of 12-2 ALT MC cable and a tub of scrap wire valued at $2,900.

-Alias warrant – possession of marijuana 2nd and alias warrant – minor in possession or consumption of alcohol from the 100 Block of 11th Avenue SW.

-Information only from the 100 Block of Tanglewood Drive.

April 29

-Domestic incident from the 1400 Block of Heather Lane.

-Domestic violence – third degree from the 1100 Block of Navajo Trail (residence/home).

-Larceny/theft – theft – miscellaneous theft, $1,500-$2,500 from the 100 Block of Lucas Lane (other/unknown). Stolen was a firearm; Smith and Wesson valued at $500.

-Violation of a domestic violation protection order from the 1500 Block of Amberley Woods Drive (residence/home).

-Domestic violence – third degree – harassment from the 1400 Block of Heather Lane (residence/home).

-Property damage from the 9600 Block of Highway 17 (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk). Damaged was a silver Hyundai Sonata LTD.

-Animal complaint from the 100 Block of Coral Circle (residenec/home).

-Information only from the 100 Block of Hummingbird Circle (government/public building).

-Harassment from the 200 Block of Smokey Road (residence/home).

-Information only – found property from the 300 Block of Colonial Promenade Parkway. Recovered was a silver metal chain, silver necklace with skull pendant and a rose gold scorpion ring with Amber gem valued at $3.

April 30

-Harassing communications from the 1700 Block of King James Drive (residence/home).

-Driving under the influence – alcohol from the 800 Block of 9th Street NW (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk).

-Criminal trespass third degree from the 500 Block of 1st Street SW (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk). Recovered was drug/narcotic equipment; “crack pipe.”

-Trespassing notice from the 200 Block of South Colonial Drive (department/discount store).

-Domestic violence – third degree from the 100 Block of Ashford Lane (residence/home).

-Trespassing notice from the 1000 Block of 1st Street North (drug store/doctor’s office/hospital).

May 1

-Harassing communications from the 1000 Block of Amberley Woods Circle (residence/home).

-Theft of property first degree (greater than $2,500) from the 700 Block of 1st Street South (construction site). Stolen was a place compactor; Wacker Neuson valued at $17,000.

-Possession of drug paraphernalia from the 200 Block of 2nd Street SW (department/discount store). Recovered was a glass pipe.

-Information only from the 100 Block of 11th Avenue SW (government/public building).

-Domestic incident from the 0 Block of South Forty Road.

-Domestic violence – third degree from the 100 Block of Grande View Lane (residence/home).

-Fraud – identity theft fro the 100 Block of Ashford Way (other/unknown).

-Alias warrant (FTA) and capias warrant (DUI) from the 100 Block of 11th Avenue SE.

May 2

-Alias warrant (theft of property 4th) from the 300 Block of McDow Road, Columbiana (other/unknown).

-Failure to comply with court order and expired tag from the 11400 Block of Highway 25, Calera.

-Information only from the 700 Block of Crider Road (residence/home).

-Larceny/theft – theft – shoplifting, $500 or less from the 600 Block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (grocery/supermarket). Stolen was a Spalding Protrack 29 basketball valued at 21.98.

May 3

-Public intoxication from the 500 Block of 1st Street SW (other/unknown).

-Capias warrant – reckless endangerment and alias writ of arrest – failure to comply with court orders from Interstate 65 southbound at mile marker 238.

-Information only from the 50 Block of South Colonial Drive (hotel/motel/etc). Recovered was a Regions debit card, driver’s license and AMFirst checks. Stolen was $1,980 valued at $1,980.

-Property damage from the 10400 Block of Highway 17. Damaged was a black mailbox valued at $100.

-Domestic incident from the 1100 Block of Amberley Woods Drive.

-Domestic violence – third degree from the 600 Block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (grocery/supermarket).

-Criminal trespass third degree from the 600 Block of 1st Street North (restaurant).

-Criminal mischief second degree (greater than $500 to $2,500) from the 500 Block of Green Meadows Trail (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk). Damaged were eight tires; red Dodge Charger valued at $1,000.

-Alias warrant – FTA driving without obtaining a driver’s license from the 3200 Block of Pelham Parkway, Pelham.

-Driving under the influence – alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident from the 10700 Block of Highway 119 (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk).

-Domestic incident from the 0 Block of South Forty Road.

May 4

-Property damage from the 1300 Block of Navajo Trail. Damaged was a white Sprinter; Ford Transit and a mailbox; wood post valued at $250.

-FTA – window tint from the 300 Block of South Colonial Drive.

-Property damage from the 600 Block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (parking lot/drop lot/garage). Damaged were two gray vehicle doors valued at $300.

-Possession of marijuana second degree from Highway 119 and 9th Avenue SW (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk). Recovered was 8.5 grams of marijuana.

-Larceny/theft – theft – pickpocket, more than $500 – less than $1,500 from the 900 Block of Broken Bow Trail (residence/home). Stolen was a backpack blower; Sthil valued at $600.

-Domestic violence – third degree from the 800 Block of 4th Avenue NW (residence/home).
