Buck Creek Coffee & Smoothies permanently closing

By DAVE DOMESCIK | Staff Writer

PELHAM – Buck Creek Coffee & Smoothies, located in Pelham, will permanently close its doors on Saturday, March 15.

The announcement came via the company’s Facebook on Friday, Feb. 28.

“After much reflection, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close Buck Creek Coffee on March 15, 2025,” read an official Facebook post. “While this coffee house has been a cherished part of our journey, the demands of running multiple businesses have led us to focus on the ventures that deserve our time and energy the most.”

The post, composed by Karen & Torre DeVito, the owners of Buck Creek, further explained why the move to close the restaurant was made.

“Though Buck Creek Coffee has been successful, our other businesses, including Bama Burgers, have shown greater returns, and we must prioritize where we invest our efforts,” read the post.

The restaurant initially opened its doors in 2019. No further information on the closure is available at this time. For more information on Buck Creek Coffee & Smoothies, visit Buckcreekcoffee.com.
