Crawdaddy’s to open Pelham location

PELHAM – Crawdaddy’s, a Cajun food truck operating in the Birmingham area, will open a storefront location in Pelham on Highway 119 near Margarita Grill with a targeted opening date in January 2025.

In a social media post, Crawdaddy’s gave an update on the construction of the new location and shared excitement for the future.

“Crawdaddy’s is nearing its highly anticipated launch for our new location, introducing a unique Cajun-themed venue,” the post read. “We eagerly await seeing our amazing customer base and welcoming fresh faces.”

The company also shared that the January timeline will allow the new location to be fully operational for next year’s crawfish season.

“Our remodeling efforts are ongoing, targeting a grand opening in the first week of January 2025,” the post read. “This timeline allows for operational fine-tuning ahead of the crawfish season surge beginning at the end of January.”

According to the Crawdaddy’s Facebook page, the new location will be a quick service style restaurant offering tradition sit down seating, a bar and take away service. In addition the offerings on the menu, Crawdaddy’s will sell live crawfish and raw seafood, along with seasonings and boiling equipment.

In addition to the Crawdaddy’s iconic boiled crawfish, the Crawdaddy’s menu features classic with a Cajun-twist such as shrimp po boys, andouille sausage grilled cheese and Cajun quesadillas.

The official opening date of the Crawdaddy’s location has yet to be announced.
