Pelham Parkway Dentistry holds ribbon cutting

PELHAM — Pelham Parkway Dentistry held a ribbon cutting ceremony on the morning of Feb. 5 hosted by The Shelby County Chamber.

The event brought together members of the community, city officials and the location’s staff to celebrate the new business.

“Pelham Parkway Dentistry can provide dental care for the entire family,” said Colby Dye, Pelham Parkway marketing.  “We believe that everyone deserves a healthy smile and we are dedicated to developing and maintaining long-term relationships with our patients and will strive to provide the best treatment for them.”

This served as an opportunity for the public to meet Pelham Parkway staff including Anne Cates, DDS, the office’s sole practitioner. Cates received her degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center School of Dentistry in 2009 and has been practicing for nearly 10 years.

Pelham Parkway’s parent group Alabama Health purchased the location and the name of the previous dentistry, however this is an entirely new operation with different staff.

Patients can access a wide array of services at Pelham Parkway including “same day treatment, hygiene visits, oral sedation, implants, teeth whitening and general dentistry,” according to their website.

Their team is seeking to provide help to the community through participation in health fairs, providing jobs to the local area and with their “bilingual staff that can more easily and effectively provide dental services and education to Hispanic families,” Dye said.

The location is accepting new patients and is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Patients can book an appointment by phone at 620-9220 or online at Pelhamdentistry.com.
