Shelby Humane to host Holiday Pet Photos with Santa

FROM STAFF REPORTS

With special guest Santa Claus, Shelby Humane will host Holiday Pet Photos with Santa at Myers Plants and Pottery in Pelham on Sunday, Nov. 17 from 1-4 p.m.

In partnership with Best Friends of Shelby Humane, the fundraising event will offer families the opportunity to pose for portraits with their furry friends. Professional photography provided by Spark and Arrow Creative will capture the beauty of the holiday season in front of a festive backdrop perfect for memorable holiday cards.

Each photo session will cost $40 and all the proceeds from the event will benefit Shelby Humane in their mission to provide shelter, medical care and adoption services for the animals of Shelby County.

According to Shelby Humane Public Relations Manager Leah Eagle, Shelby Humane is dedicated to improving the lives of Shelby County’s animals through adoption, community education and outreach programs.

Eagle shared that events like Holiday Pet Photos with Santa enable Shelby Humane to continue its vital work of providing care, love and a second chance to countless animals in need.

“Holiday Pet Photos with Santa is a wonderful way to celebrate the season with the whole family, including your furry friends,” Eagle said. “We are grateful to Myers Plants and Pottery, Spark and Arrow Creative and Best Friends of Shelby Humane for making this event possible and we look forward to seeing everyone come out to support a great cause.”

No registration is required for Pet Photos with Santa. Interested families only have to arrive camera ready at Myers Plants and Pottery at 2935 Pelham Parkway, Pelham between 1-4 p.m.
