COLUMBIANA – The state called two rebuttal witnesses to the stand Wednesday morning in the capital murder trial of Bart Johnson.

Both doctors testified that Johnson has no mental diseases or defects.

Johnson has pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.

The state will call additional witnesses when court resumes from a lunch recess at 1:15 p.m.
