Liberty Baptist Church has been and will continue to be involved in ministering to people in Ohatchee, Ider and Pleasant Grove in debris clean up and serving meals. The Liberty Baptist Kids Ministry has adopted a family in Ohatchee with three children. Their project now is to “give up” buying Cokes, candy bars or other items each week and placing the money saved  in a giant water container in the church’s children’s area. It began because a second-grade boy emptied his piggy bank and brought his money to church on the Sunday after the tornado outbreak to give to people “who were hurt by the tornado.”  Here, the Liberty Baptist group picks up salvageable items from among the disaster debris.
