Eagles shut out Jemison

The Calera High School softball team defeated Jemison 13-0 in high school softball action April 5.

Kymber McGiboney led the Eagles with three hits, including a double, in the victory. McGiboney also drove in a team-high three runs in the win.

Shelby Clark, who had a triple, Shelby Wright and Jocelyn Davis added two hits each and drove in two runs each. Katie Eiland finished with two hits and drove in one run. Anna Seabury, Skylar Laird and Somer Roberson finished with one hit each.

Eiland, who earned the win in the circle, gave up just two hits and recorded three strikeouts in a five-inning complete-game victory.
