The Calera High School baseball team fell to Oak Grove 12-2 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A, Area 8 contest April 13.

Ryne Phelps and Jeremy Hyde led the Eagles offensively as each finished 1-for-2 at the plate.

Phelps and Hyde drove in one run each.

Zack Reneau took the loss after giving up six runs, including five earned runs, on four hits with one walk in 2/3 of an inning.

De’Andre Shanks allowed five runs, including four earned runs, on six hits with one strikeout and two walks in 4 1/3 innings in relief.
