Pets looking for forever homes

Published 3:21pm Monday, September 10, 2012

Looking for a pet to add to your family? Shelby Humane Society has your match and is eager to help! Cruz and Sabrina are this week’s featured pets.

Cruz (contributed)

Cruz is a 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix. This pretty little girl would love an active home — regular walks and play time will bring her endless joy. She can win the heart of anyone in just one glance and wait until you see how smart she is!

Sabrina (contributed)

Then meet Sabrina, a 4-month-old tortoise-shell cat with a shy and sweet personality. She is a stunning little girl that would enjoy a sunny perch to curl up on and a family to call her own. With a little time and a lot of love this beautiful kitten will grow to be a confident and loving companion.

If either Cruz or Sabrina would be the perfect addition to your family, please contact Shelby Humane Society at 669-3916 ext. 22. You can also visit all of the adoptable pets at the shelter in Columbiana Tuesday-Saturday from noon-5:30 p.m.

Don’t forget this Saturday is “Paws for the Cause” at the Hoover-Veterans Park. Come out to participate or to cheer for the 5K race and 1 mile Fun Run/Pet Walk. Your support helps Shelby Humane Society save more lives.
