FROM STAFF REPORTS

The Coosa Valley Academy Rebels battled East Memorial Christian Academy into the third quarter, but the Wildcats turned the momentum in their favor for a 40-13 win Sept. 20.

The teams battled to a 13-13 score in the beginning stages of the third quarter. East Memorial (2-3) turned the tide with a fumble return for a touchdown and never looked back on their way to the victory.
