Loving pets need good homes

This week, the Shelby Humane Society is featuring Scooter and Red.

Scooter (Contributed)

Scooter is a 7-year-old Spaniel mix with a curly black and white coat. He has handsome brown eyes and droopy ears and you cannot help but smile as soon as you see him. The best part is he smiles right back at you! Scooter is on an anti-seizure medication that he will have to take the rest of his life but the good news is it is an inexpensive drug and he takes his medication like a gentleman. He qualifies for our “Seniors for Seniors” program as well.

Red (Contributed)

Red is a 1-and-a-half year-old shorthaired tabby who has a personality all his own! He is playful, smart, ready to snuggle and will greet you with a pleasant purr and nose rub. If you feel either of these boys are the right match for you or your family please contact Shelby Humane Society at 699-3916 ext.22. You can visit all of the adoptable pets here at the shelter in Columbiana Tuesday-Saturday noon-5:30 p.m.

Also, check out the Society’s website at ShelbyHumane.org. Choose Shelby Humane Society and help save a life!
