The student has since graduated and is attending college, according to the press release.

The police department’s Family Services Division recently received a tip about Millard’s conduct, which led to the investigation.

Millard has been charged with two counts of a school employee having sex with a student under the age of 19.

Millard is being held on total bond of $30,000 in the Hoover City Jail and is awaiting transfer to the Shelby County Jail.

She is no longer employed by Hoover City Schools, according to the press release.
