Clark leads Calera past Jemison

Calera’s Ronnie Clark led his Eagles to an 80-47 victory over Jemison in the Class 4A, Area 7 tournament at Jemison High School Feb. 8.

Clark led the Eagles to a 21-17 first quarter lead, then the Eagles held Jemison to just six points in the second for a 39-23 halftime advantage.

Clark scored nine of his game-high 22 points in the third to lead the Eagles to a 26-point quarter to take a 65-35 lead into the fourth.

In addition to Clark’s 22 points, Henry Davis scored 12 points for the Eagles. Jordan Bishop added 10 points while going 4-of-6 from the free throw line.

The Eagles will take on host Bibb County in the Area 7 championship game Feb. 11.
