Warriors fall to Vestavia Hills

The Thompson Warriors were able to outhit Vestavia Hills in a non-area game March 14, but the Rebels held on for a 4-0 victory.

Vestavia scored two runs in the first and added runs in the third and sixth innings to claim the 4-0 win.

Jackson Cofer allowed two earned runs on three hits with two strikeouts and a walk in the loss for the Warriors.

Joseph Simonetti led Thompson batting 2-for-2 with a walk. Drew Avans reached base on three walks and finished 0-for-1 from the plate.
