Westminster’s Carrell earns gold at State

Pelham resident Andrew Carrell (senior at The Westminster School at Oak Mountain) won two gold and two silver medals at the 2013 AHSAA Class 1A State Track meet in Selma.

For the second year in a row, Andrew won the 110-meter hurdles and this year set a State Record (14.96 sec). Andrew also won the 300-meter hurdles, placed second in the 400-meter and led the 4x400m relay team to a silver medal.
