Spain Park falls to Oxford on the road

Oxford’s Roc Thomas posted 400 yards rushing and six touchdowns as the Spain Park Jaguars fell to the Yellow Jackets, 56-49.

Otis Harris led the Jaguars in rushing, with 82 yards and a touchdown. Mason Duke went 31-of-56 for 432 yards and five touchdowns. Dalton Brown hauled in eight of those passes for 115 yards and tow touchdowns. Derek Williams had nine catches for 103 yards and a score. Harris had two receiving touchdowns.

The Jaguars will move on to face Enterprise at home in the opening round of the AHSAA playoffs on Nov. 8.
