Ouida Louise Dorough, age 89, of Chelsea, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. on Nov. 17 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana, with burial following in Pinelawn Gardens. Visitation will be Nov. 17 from 1-3 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.
A member of Mt. Signal Baptist Church, Mamaw, as she was affectionately known, enjoyed cooking and caring for her family.
Mrs. Dorough is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harry Dorough Sr. She was the daughter of Horace Salser and Myrtle Ruth Kendrick Salser. She is survived by three daughters, Myrtle Jett (Richard), Betty Gardner (Robert) and Carolyn Dreher (Robert); three sons, Harry Dorough Jr. (Niva), Larry Dorough (Janet) and Randy Dorough; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Susie Minor; and brother, Roderick Salser.
